addition to my life


Let me tell you what I have done after I decide to have an operation. First of all I still don’t know will my doctor operate me. My doctor appointment is on 26th march. I hope to lose some weight to convince him. Actually I have learnt that a pre-operation diet helps the decrease the fat around the liver and it will be big help at the operation. Also it is a self-check for the patient about what she can do after operation. Even I have this info; I still need to convince my doctor for the operation.
In Turkey, if you have bmi40 and more and the university hospital consultant commission approves your operation, government take cares the operation costs. So after my doctor says yes, I need to go thru checkup thru endocrine, psychiatry, cardiology, internal medicine, pulmonary department. If they approved that I can have operation, than commission will make a decision. After their decision, I can have the operation.
I may have the operation thru private surgeon at private hospital. However I prefer to be in university hospital if anything bad happens.
I don’t want to worry about this right now. I have almost 2 weeks till 26th and I want to change my eating habits and try to add some exercise in my life. I hope I get the operation, if not that will not be the end of life (even I will be very disappointed) I will seek different ways.
I have started the post with what I have done since I have decided to lose weight. Beside those things already written, I have calculated my bmi goals. What bmi I am already, what it should be.

So with my weight of today (140.8kg) I am morbid obese.
I have stop worried about my situation. Now I have my own goals. First I need to reach 129kg to be class 2 obeseJ
Beside this calculation, I have found a book called weight loss surgery cook book for dummies. I think it will help me out if I get the operation.

Also I decide to add some exercise to my life. At my research even 10minutes of exercise will help to improve life quality. It is very tireding to do exercise while you have too much excess weight. There is a fitness system called P90x. it seems like great system but I am not sure will I continue 90days. At the site there is a shorter version. P90 10minute trainer. I may try to get this one.

Also there is 10minute training of biggest looser program (full name is The Biggest Loser 30-Day Jump Start DVD. That may also work. Because it is tested by morbid obese people and they did great at the end.


So after I get a hold on any of this dvds I will add some work out to my daily routine. (I will give you the feedback about them) till than I add some walking to my daily routine.
